Detailed description of Sun Valley Golf Course

Sun Valley Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Valley Station, Kentucky.

Sun Valley Golf Course first opened for play in 1972. The course was originally a 9-hole layout designed by Ben Wihry. Marty Stoarch is responsible for the design of the second nine holes.  

The course varies from Links-style to Traditional depending on your location on the course.  Some greens are small and flat and fairways wide open and flat, while other greens are large and undulating and fairways narrow and hilly.  Water hazards come into play on over half the holes.

White tees: par-71, 6,039 yards
Red tees: par-71, 5,005 yards
